Equipment Overview:

      The transverse video extensometer is composed of camera, double telecentric lens, prism, parallel light source, light source controller, etc., which can measure the deformation of the width direction of the sheet in real time. Combined with the lever longitudinal extensometer, it can automatically measure the mechanical tensile properties of the metal sheet such as n value and r value。

     1) Non-contact measurement, overcome the impact of the high strength plate breaking instantaneous vibration on the measurement results of the eight-claw contact transverse extensor, measurement is more accurate;

     2) Fewer parts, convenient debugging and maintenance;

     3) To avoid the mechanical contact transverse extensometer claw following inflexibility, resulting in inaccurate measurement of the width direction;

     4) Avoid the influence of mechanical contact transverse extensometer claw grip force on A (elongation after breaking)。
